James “Woody” Fritts originally founded Fritts Insurance in 1957 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to serve the community that he loved. Woody’s son Tony joined the agency when he returned from Western Kentucky University. In 1992, Tony went on to become the Deputy Commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Insurance and rejoined the agency in 1996. Tom Million joined Fritts Insurance Agency in 1994 after spending several years in the independent insurance agency system. With Tom’s arrival, Fritts Million Insurance was born. In the following years the agency continued to expand; adding an office in Louisville in 2002. Today, Fritts Million Insurance is licensed to write insurance not only in Kentucky but Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee as well.
